For me, every film has to start with a purpose. Themes are not just tools for storytelling; they are what give a story its emotional heartbeat. In the short films I have worked on, I have taken on many roles as casting director, actor, writer, and producer, but my ultimate goal is to direct. I want to uncover the connection between a film’s essence and the human soul. You can make a story out of anything, but what is the point if it does not connect?
