TIMOTHY KANDRA
COLLABORATOR | INNOVATOR | CREATOR
Three-year-old Timothy Kandra stood frozen at the threshold of a darkened movie theater, terrified by the booming sounds of Finding Nemo. That fear of sound, shadow, and stories too big to grasp stayed with him for years. Yet between fear and fascination, a spark ignited. He no longer wanted to flee the screen; he wanted to understand, shape, and control it.

Today, Timothy is a filmmaker, videographer, and multimedia specialist based in Atlanta, GA. His creative path began in the Performing and Visual Arts Magnet Program at Annapolis High School and continued at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he earned a B.F.A. in Film & Television in 2021, refining his skills in cinematography, editing, and storytelling.

After college, Timothy worked as a videographer for a professional dance company, capturing the fleeting nature of live performance on film. In 2022, he brought that same eye for movement and meaning to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, producing multimedia content that combined design, motion graphics, and storytelling to educate and engage. He currently works as a video editor for MarketScale and, in 2026, began creating his own content, expanding his storytelling across platforms.

Drawing on stage acting experience and years of writing film reviews, Timothy combines emotional insight with analytical clarity in his work. With a love of film as both reflection and storytelling, and a particular passion for musicals, he writes and directs with the same awe that once made him hesitant to enter the theater. Now, he steps behind the lens not in fear, but in pursuit of wonder.
